Our Valved Respirators with Gaskets are designed to help you stay cool while providing you with a better fit. The dust masks feature a comfortable tight sealing gasket creating a secure seal on your face for all day comfort. The respirator valve reduces the construction masks internal temperature by 10°F keeping you cool while at work. Milwaukee masks feature 2 soft adjustable straps and a flexible nose bridge allowing you to achieve a better fit. The respirator masks are ideal for non-harmful sanding, grinding, sawing and insulation particles.

A respirator mask is required for numerous jobs. Sanding, replacing brakes, spray painting and many more jobs.
Currently I'm doing a large drywall job and sanding a lot of joint compound. Definitely you need to wear a mask for this job. I've tried a lot of those drug store masks with little luck. Sure they're cheap but that might be their biggest problem. They don't work well, are hard to fit. The stapled elastic bands sometimes rip out and to get them tight enough, some of us have to tie a knot in them. And the bands don't fit your head well. If they have 2 straps, the bottom always slides down the back of your neck. Not to mention, the mask itself often doesn't fit your face well. For Read More

I recently got these Milwaukee respirators and all that's changed. They fit my face and have a foam gasket around the inside that is comfortable but also creates a seal. The exhale valve in the center helps prevent moisture build up and aids with breathing. And finally, the 2 well placed straps are fused to loops on the masks sides (not stapled) so they wont come off. And instead of having to tie knots in the back, the straps have a cinch that you just slip along the strap until it fits tight and comfortable.
If the job calls for a respirator mask, use one that actually fits and really works. Plus it's highly re-usable. No throw away. So even though they may cost a little more, they're cheaper in the long run. Read Less

What a lovely piece. If you enjoy being decorative during the holidays, consider getting this Carriage/Horse combination for indoor or outdoor use with LED lights.
It is a beautiful item that can really dress up a yard. We got it just in time as we're experiencing a very early winter this year with a few inches of snow on the ground, this really looks great.
Most won't opt to display this indoors as it is rather large requiring about 4 feet by 6 feet of space. But when you see my pictures of it on the lawn amid the fresh snow, you're going to want one.
Keep in mind, it needs considerable assembly. It took me about an hour (give or take) to put it together. And a tip. Unless you Read More

The 3/8 in. Socket Rail is a great way to keep your sockets organized and handy. This convenient tool features ball bearings on socket tags to hold sockets in place, which helps prevent them from getting lost. It is color coded by drive size for improved organization.

These are a very nice rendition of the socket rails of old. The metal socket rails could have sharp edges and the socket clips would wear out and/or lose plating. Other times your sockets seemed like they had become welded to the clip. The socket clips on these are more like how your sockets would be retained to a ratchet wrench or extension, by a spring loaded ball. Very effective at holding them to the rail yet not a battle to get one off. My only dislike is 10 clips isn't enough and my store didn't sell extra clips. So in order to fit my sockets, I had to count how many clips I needed and purchase enough extra's to accommodate my socket sets. It would also have been nice if they were Read More

So in order to fit my sockets, I had to count how many clips I needed and purchase enough extra's to accommodate my socket sets. It would also have been nice if they were about 2 inches longer as there wasn't room on the rail for my 2 smallest sockets.
But 1 other nice feature over the old metal rails is, the clips cannot slip off the ends. The right end (in the picture) prevents any clips from sliding off. The left end (in picture) has a raised clip or stop. If you want to remove socket holders you can simply press down on the clip so the holder will slide off easily. They are made of a good quality plastic so I don't see that retainer clip becoming brittle and breaking anytime soon.

Exquisite. I changed out my kitchen faucet less than 2 years ago but just didn't care for it. It had a pull down sprayer but had too wide a spray pattern and just made a mess. The trigger to switch between spray and stream had already started to show signs of wear. It was time to try something else.
So we got this Glacier Bay faucet because it more closely matched our sink (stainless finish) and just had many more features. It has a more precise spray pattern and the trigger feels sturdier. Additionally, we like the high arc allows for more clearance for washing pans or filling pitchers of water. It has a more precise spray pattern and the trigger feels sturdier. Additionally, we like the high arc allows for more clearance for washing pans or filling pitchers of water. And fill pitchers we will since this faucet has a dual filtration system built in that electronically senses when it's time to replace them. A small alarm (battery operated) fits comfortably under the sink on the back wall of the cabinet. The filters are produced by GE which is a well known name in water filtration products.
The spout swings a full 90 degrees left or right. The single handle design takes a little getting used to, but once you do, will find it more convenient than other designs.
The same handle also operates the filtered water dispensing that emits through a separate opening but on the same spout. The handles position also switches the spout between filtered or non filtered. From the off position, just pull the handle forward for filtered water. This way your not using the filtered water needlessly to wash dishes or hands.
Installation wasn't nearly as difficult as I had expected. When you open the box, it's a bit intimidating. However, the instructions made the install a breeze. I would buy this again. Read Less

During those years I've owned some Husky tools. But when your in the auto repair business, a lot of guys don't go to a store to buy their tools. But this also means they spend a lot more for them.

But if you want to save a large chunk of cash and get a good quality product with great coverage, you need to consider this Husky 3/8 drive socket set. As with most tools, they carry a lifetime warranty and are carried at thousands of retail stores everywhere. What's more, they will get the job done just as well as those much more expensive tools. And quite honestly, a properly used tool is rarely a broken or worn out tool. Most mechanics lose a tool way before they ever break one.
This is a 54 piece set of Standard and metric, shallow and deep sockets and includes 4 spark plug sockets. The Standard shallow has 14 pieces ranging from 1 inch down to 5/32 . The deeps have 10 pieces from 1 inch down to 5/16. The metric sets, shallow range from 21 mm down to 7 mm (14 pieces) and the deeps from 19 mm down to 8 mm (12 pieces)
But you also get the 4 spark plug sockets, 13/16-3/4-5/8 and 8mm. The 8mm is rare but common in many dirt bikes and other equipment. So if you work with those sorts of things, you'll appreciate it having been included. All the spark plug sockets have retainers to prevent dropping a spark plug causing damage to it.
Keep in mind, if ordering this set, be sure to order socket rails if you need them, are not included.
Considering I lost a large number of my tools in a building fire, these have been a very good replacement for me. Being retired (but still wrenching) I've saved a bundle buying from Husky. Read Less

They do not. Since each string has it's own plug and control box, they work independent of each other. However, when the next string is plugged in at the end of the previous string, the synchrony is very close since each one follows the same order so at the moment they are turned on, they start with the same pattern but do not run in exact synchrony.

          Answer:
These lights DO NOT operate through an app via smart phone. I opted to purchase the adapters. You plug these in at the socket and plug the lights into the adapter. Because the lights are seasonal, I didn't want a special app just to operate lights I'll only use maybe a month. With the adapters, when light seasons over, I can use those same adapters elsewhere.

          Answer:
It can most certainly heat PVC pipe. Use extreme caution when doing so as PVC doesn't like being heated especially if you're doing it to make a bend. It has a tendency to collapse at the radius of the bend. But it does work well for relaxing PVC in tight areas. And never heat a glued joint unless your attempting to separate that joint.

However, you need to be aware of a number of potentially serious issues in using a heat gun to remove paint. If you've done it before, are probably familiar with heat for paint removal. If you're not, it may be a good idea to practice it on a board outside before actually working it on a structure.
The problem with paint removal is, in most cases we have no idea what kind of paint is in the layers to be removed. Many will burn if the temperature reaches it's flash point. Oil paints tend to be more-so than latex though dried latex can also burn. Another concern is if the paint is older, could contain lead. Lead paint removal is always a hazardous endeavor. However, it's debatable which process is worse.
Melting or burning lead based paint will release toxins possibly worse than just sanding because the rising heat will disperse those gases more readily than sanding. When sanding, gravity kind of takes over and most will fall to the floor and can be vacuumed. It's still a hazardous job either way.
But let's assume lead ISN'T an issue. You'll want a variety of scraping tools for the job, particularly if you have moldings of various shapes. And always pull your scraping tools (not push) since pushing can cause you to run into wood fibers resulting in wood gouges and dry wall divots. You'll also want a sacrificial board to scrape the paint of your tools. For straight scrapers, a razor scraper can be a good friend. But a nice straight board edge is good too. For curved scrapers, disposable rags work well.
Heat the paint to a point where it just starts to bubble but not burn and quickly scrape it off. Don't expect to reach bare wood in every case as the wood will have soaked in some of the paint. Work large areas in each step as you'll likely still have to sand those areas. But it will be much easier to sand. You should keep on hand, a fire suppression device while using a heat gun, have a safe place ready to set down the heat gun after use as the nozzle will be very hot. And wear a breathing mask to avoid inhaling fumes and gloves that can be discarded. Hot blobs of paint can get on your hands and will burn skin like melted plastic. Since you say this is the exterior, should make this job much easier than interior. But you still have a job ahead that I don't envy. Just consider all safety precautions and you should be able to get this done in good time. Read Less
