Approved for use as an underlayment for carpeting, hardwood and vinyl floor coverings. (Installation instructions must be followed). Cuts easily with a utility knife while strong enough to withstand extreme bending without breaking.

I needed a piece to enclose an air conditioner into a cut out. It isn't intended to be a permanent installation but I still wanted a quality piece where I could make the cut out least noticeable. This was just the ticket. I was able to accurately cut the 2 pieces (inner and outer) and fit them for a perfect fit. I was able to achieve a great seal from rain and insects and the piece took paint beautifully for a nearly invisible installation.
It was also a great test job as I will be having to prep a floor soon. This will be my product of choice when I get to that job.

For flooring installation, get the Dremel 1-1/8 in. Bi-Metal Flush Cut Blade. Precisely cut or plunge cut through wood, drywall, non-ferrous metals like copper, plastic and other soft materials. The blades tooth pattern similar to a standard hacksaw blade. The Dual Interface allows its use with the most common oscillating tools in the market without the need of an adapter.

Not long ago I obtained an oscillating tool (not Dremel) which came with a few attachments. I haven't used it much but came into a job several days ago in which my oscillator was really the only option. And it worked great. Except the job ran into a couple nails (spikes) that the supplied blade just couldn't handle. So I ran to Home Depot, sorted through the many blade options and settled on a few choices including the one seen here. I selected it because it was carbide and made for all materials including steel. It did not disappoint. Those nails were no match for this blade and the blade barely looks used.

Need some blades and want to save a few bucks? Strongly consider these Dremel blades. I got the job done for less.

Failure to maintain your septic system can result in a large bill and a huge mess. Septic systems rely on a healthy level of bacteria and enzymes in the system to break down household waste. ZEP Septic System and Cesspool Liquid Treatment is a non-toxic, biodegradable formula that dissolves organic material using concentrated natural enzymes. Bacterial enzymes in this septic safe drain cleaner digest paper, grease, proteins and more. This septic tank treatment can be used monthly as a preventive maintenance measure and is safe for all pipes and septic systems. Directions: Use 32 oz. once every 2 months for a 1,000 gallon tank. Use 16 oz. for a 500 gallon tank. If you are not sure of your tank's size, use directions for a 1,000 gallon tank. Flush product down the toilet bowl.

I buy this product under recommendation simply because I have a septic system and it's recommended periodically. Honestly I have no idea if it actually does anything even though I understand the material inside that septic tank may need help breaking down.
I've used many Zep products over many years and have always been very satisfied with them all, which is the sole reason for purchasing this particular brand.
If I was to make 1 suggestion for this product, it would be to change the bottle design. The bottle is too tall to fit within the toilet bowl and pour the contents. You need to hold it back over the front of the rim. If you're not very careful, it will splash. In my case, some

The instructions clearly state to avoid skin contact and thus clean up required extra care.

Since they are full circle they are perfect for installing tubing to floor joists (between joists) and the ribbing inside the circle of the clamp, does a good job of isolating the tubing which helps prevent noise transmission into the structure they're attached to.

If you opt to use small screws, isn't much easier in many areas particularly if your working in tight quarters. Some fasteners or staples, have nails provided, fit tightly into the holes of the plastic. This frees up a hand to hold the tubing while you drive the nail. It also prevents whacking a finger trying to hold small nails.

I found these to be an excellent addition for installing PEX tubing in certain applications.
Relatively easy to work with, they are very convenient for installing tubing between floor joists as they keep the tubing taught yet provide a good amount of isolation which helps prevent noise transmission through the structure of which the tubing is to be installed.
My only dislike is that, unlike fasteners for other products, these have no hardware (nails). The holes are rather small which is fine for accepting small nails (or screws). But I've found (as I imagine many others have) when working in tight spaces, holding the clamp, a small nail and hammer is a pretty tricky en devour. Likewise

This would save time and fingers as well as make installation a 2 hand job instead of 3.

As with any chore such as this, you want start in an area that has little visibility as a test section.
I would first try some very fine sand paper and lightly sand the bubbles avoiding over sanding the area (not bubbled) since sand paper will dull the finish and embed sanding dust. The finer the sand paper, the less likely to result in the dusty or faded appearance. Still, this can typically be cleaned from the surface with a damp (not wet) rag, taking care to clean all dust. Allow this to thoroughly dry. At this point it may be ready to re-coat. It may be best to reapply using a clean dry rag made of a polyester material. Polyester has a low chance of leaving lint. Wearing latex gloves, apply the product in thin layers wringing the rag between applications. Allow each layer to dry and repeat as often as needed to match.
In some cases I might use a thinner to clean the area to remove any cloudiness left from sanding. My preferred choice is acetone. Be very careful using acetone. Wear latex gloves and have ventilation. Again, with a rag made of material with low lint content, lightly dampen the rag with the acetone (not dripping wet) and make wiping strokes with the grain. Don't use a scrubbing motion or otherwise resist any urge to repeatedly wipe over the same area. Just straight strokes and allow to dry. This can be repeated until you achieve a consistent appearance. But always make sure the acetone is fully dried before repeating or reapplying the product. This should result in a good finish.
One more note, the acetone may be able to remove the bubbles (without sanding) using the same method as above. But again, without knowing the specific material you're working with, always try an inconspicuous section before proceeding to more noticeable areas. Read Less

The blades are a one piece unit. To remove, unplug the fan, remove the front grate (cover), remove center cap from blade hub and remove the center nut. The blade hub may be a little tricky but will pull straight out with some effort. Reinstall in reverse except make sure the hub is lined up on the motor shaft properly.

It has been shown to have little effect on certain types of grasses while leaving others unaffected. And testing has shown, some grasses to only have temporary damage. However, for those reasons, using it on typical lawns could have serious impact, temporary or permanent. Therefore it is a "use at your own risk" situation.
