          We use very large pots to cook for the homeless in our community. These work very well, but are small enough that we have to carefully balance large pots on these . All in all they are great, but not as sturdy as I hoped they would be.

          Is it safe to use an extension cord with this

          Answer: 
          Yes. Provided that the cord is not too long or too small small of a wire gauge. It should also have a 3 prong plug.
          Generally, the chords on these units are short, since they do carry a lot of current. If possible, it is preferable to not use an extension chord with these.
