WORKS WELL WITH CAULKS, SEALANTS, AND YOU. Typar Butyl Flashing definitely delivers on the basics. It's designed to peel quickly, stick fast, and keep projects on budget. But going beyond the fundamentals, it's formulated without voes, and it's compatible with most caulks and sealants used for window installation. Compared to rubberized asphalt-based flashings, Typar Butyl Flashing simply brings more to the job. It's pliable in cold weather. It's stable at high temperatures. Plus it maintains a flexible, but tight seal for far greater durability and long-lasting performance.

So far, so good. We are not using it as intended, but rather on top of our deck joists. (Comparable in components and structure and much cheaper than butyl tapes marketed for this use with decks) The paper backing comes off fairly easy, especially if you leave the paper membrane on the sides of the roll. Cuts well for corners etc. Fairly forgiving for reapplication. Need to wear coated work gloves since it's super sticky. It is not very slippery after application so we feel safe walking on top of it and it wears well due to the backing.

Strength, style and substance are the foundations for the pride we feel in the Hillsdale Kids and Teens Caspian Twin Study Loft in Walnut. Hillsdale Kids and Teen has been designing bunks and lofts for the past 8 years under the brand NE Kids and traditionally, we sell configurations that demand higher retail price points. As we embarked on the design process to create this affordable study loft, we took the time to think through the lessons we have learned from developing our more expensive loft beds, and studied ways we could apply them to achieve Value, Quality, Strength, Comfort and Safety at this incredible price. We are confident that these details that will help you to feel secure that you have made the right decision first for your child’s safety and second, for your child’s own unique style. When consulted the Hillsdale Kids and Teen design experts feel this Study Lofts simplistic style and clean lines make it extremely versatile. They recommend it for the following design themes: Modern, Mid Century, Contemporary, Traditional, Country Chic, Coastal, Cottage, Mission, a sweet retreat or a teen hangout.

We really like this product for our son. He has been using it for 3 weeks. The only drawback is that because there isnt any diagonal bracing, it tends to feel a little wobbly when moving around on top. Other than that, its great and he sleeps like a rock in it. The stain color is very pretty.

Is this the same type of material that is used in trex rainescape butyl tape. Used for cover deck joists

          Answer:
I looked into the Trex tape. We chose this Typar tape to use instead of the Trex tape for our new and rehabbed deck joists. It's pretty similar in structure and components, plus its twice as wide as Trex. I can't give you any long term use feedback however.
