With Screen Tight's window screen frame kit, you can build your own window screen to match the size of your existing or new window. The kit includes all parts needed to build your window screen, except for tools. This project is easy for any DIY'er or professional and doesn't take any previous experience.

I had a couple of smaller windows than needed the screens replaced. As these were available in the store, I purchased this kit. Putting it together was relatively easy. I did have to cut it down to the proper size with a hacksaw. After installing the netting, I realized that the black plastic tabs on the sides (for installation and removal of the screen) were very loose and prone to coming out during installation into the window. I tried to get the tabs to stay put by pushing the plastic/rubber strip into the groove tighter, but this didn’t help. I even used a screwdriver to try to get it in there to retain the tabs. The problem is that when the tabs come out, the screen comes with it. I Read More

I think they need to supply a different kind of tab (like those on factory screens) or they need to redesign the way the tab fits into the groove and gets retained so that they stay put. I think that if this kit was the only option, I would use them but if there is an alternative available (such as a new-factory screen), I would opt for that first. Read Less

Clear advantage offers better visibility without compromising durability. You can enjoy up to 50% more natural light and dramatically improve airflow versus standard screening. This lightweight screen has the same easy installation and weathering benefits as standard fiberglass screening.

I am happy with this screen. I had a wider window that needed a new screen and this worked well. The mesh is close (small) but not that noticeable from a couple of feet away from the window. Cutting and installing it was relatively easy. I did learn though that the screen needs to be looser than I would have thought, otherwise the frame can bow if it gets pulled too tight.

This worked very well. It was well worth the price. It takes a bit of practice and care in the beginning to make sure you don’t do more harm than good but once I got the hang of it, it straightened all my bent fins. I can see keeping this around just in case they get bent in the future.

This grill doesn't have porcelain coated firebox. Is that a negative? Would it be quite harder to clean compared to porcelain coated firebox?

          Answer:
I have noticed, after a couple of years, that there is some rust showing in the firebox. It will likely be the thing that gives out first. I clean it regularly but where I live, moist and damp air is the norm which means things rust. I would have preferred a porcelain fire box but that wasn't available with this grill. Even so, I've been very happy with this grill. I hope that helps!

I suppose you could use it for that. It's not going to seal like a traditional entry door would but if that's not a concern, it probably would work for your application. I hope this helps!
