Pretty nice tree. The needles look real, and you don’t see any raw stem, like you do on some artificial trees. The computerized control of the lights is the key feature. The control box has some basic features, and the App for your smart phone has additional options. We like the “snowflake” design (cascading white lights drifting down), and this is one of the options on the basic control box. The electrical connections are made within the trunk of the tree, as you slide the sections together. Nice. The tree branches are wound with some kind of multi-colored material, which helps hide them. The tree stand locks into position nicely as you open it up. Push the detent back in, and you can fold it up. The biggest negative issue I had was the bulk of the unit. The tree is 5’ wide, and that means the storage box has to be extra large to hold all the branches. The box measures 17.5” x 19” x 48”. I did manage to get it stored in our attic, but it was a big chore. I would have preferred a tree that was a little narrower, and stored in a smaller box. The other negative is the plastic storage “caps” that fit over the ends of the trunk, to keep contamination away from the electrical connections, would just fall off. I had to tape them on. Read Less

The "button" you need to push is very difficult to use. I have to use two hands to get the button pressed down, then hold it with one hand, and move the other hand to the handle.

My wife saw this and wanted it for her small sewing gear. The cabinet looks attractive. The latch for the top cover latches so easily, I was concerned that it may not stay secure, but I played with it for some time, and it never gave any indication that it would not hold. The drawers are secured in the cabinet with a flap which very securely locks into place, and the individual drawers also have latches that are robust. It’s not so difficult to unlatch that you would spill the contents (I had one that way years ago).

The units appear to be very well made. I tested these units out on a 1/8” pipe nipple, which had been in the valve for decades. I did a light tap with a hammer, and applied torque to the easy-out. I thought it would be interesting to see how much torque this unit would take before slipping. I put a torque wrench on it, torqued it to 40 ft-lbs before the nipple split. The easy-out didn’t slip.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I initially rated this high, before I had a chance to use it. I based that on products I bought a few years earlier. I had the following bad issues with this material.
          1. When I tried to glue this to some sheetrock, it didn't adhere very well, and I saw the back of this material just flaked off where the construction adhesive was applied. The then painted the entire back surface with house paint, let that cure, and glued up another panel. That held.
          2. I needed to drill 1/4" holes to hold shelf brackets. I used some green painter's tape to hold my drilling guide. When I pulled the tape off, a big hunk of the white surface came with it.

          3. I'm having real issues drilling the holes and making it neat. It wants to chip away around the hole. Trying to minimize this, I use multiple drill bit sized, but still looks poor.

Not a lot of information on your problem, but I'll try.
          1. I assume you must have the basic system (which has the pump), and you are just replacing the valve?
          2. If you had good pressure before replacing this valve, then either you made an error on the plumbing connection, or the valve is hanging up.

          3. We have this system, with this valve under our kitchen sink, and we get instant hot water (and good pressure) in the kitchen. What was surprising is that the water line feeding our kitchen goes about 5 feet away from our shower, but it also has hot water very quickly. Again with good pressure.
          4. If you had low pressure before replacing the valve, then the pressure drop is somewhere else. Not sure if the pump (which is in series with this) may have hung up. If you suspect this, consider by-passing the pump. Read Less

Yes you can. I saw a guy texture the ceiling where they thinned this stuff down, and dabbed it on with a trowel, again let it sit for awhile, and then knocked it down. A couple recommendations. Practice on a scrap piece of sheetrock, until you achieve the results you want. Be sure to note how thin the paste is so you can repeat it. Also, be sure your tape job is decent. I've seen homes where guys cut this step short, and the seams all show. Read Less

Actually there is no question, but I think you realize it's important to secure all the molding the same manufacturer. Years ago, I mixed some molding, and although they look close, they often are not the same. Not an issue, unless you miter the corners of two different sources, and you can then easily see that they don't match.
