I’ve been debating about getting security cameras for some time, and thought this would be a nice, fairly low cost introduction to the experience. Picture quality is pretty good. I have it in the office, and even with the blinds pulled, it still gives good quality picture. It’s best to have it mounted about head high. They include a bracket to install on the wall or ceiling, but that would look kind of crude with the cable hanging down. I have a bookcase which works well, as the camera remains fairly hidden. Their advertising that it takes less a minute to set up is a joke. I guess I spent about an hour on the installation. You have to download an App, and it wasn’t clear which app you need Read More

You can turn the camera on and off with your I-phone. It sends e-mails each time it takes a picture, so you definitely need to turn the camera off (with your phone) when you are home, or your e-mail account will fill up fast. They include a decal for the window, alerting people the property has surveillance camera with 24/7 coverage. The decal would have been better if it were designed to install inside the window instead of outside. I’m giving it a 4 star, only because the silly installation time given on the literature, indicating it takes only one minute. It took me that long just to open the box. Otherwise, appears to be a nice unit. Read Less

Our existing set of skews are basically some rods approximately 1/8” square, with a bend on the end to make a round “eye” for a handle. Negatives with that set is that you need a tool to hold the handle, as it gets very hot. We also had issues with the food falling off the small diameter shaft.
These new units solve both of those problems very nicely. You obviously leave the wooden handle outside of the grill. They remained cool to the touch. The storage case is also cute.
          Nice unit.

I’ve had a few different styles of luggage over the years. One was rigid plastic design, and it was damaged by the airlines. They “fixed” it by riveting an aluminum patch on it. Very crude, so we junked it. We have had a few sets that are the soft side design (fairly expensive). The last set was a nice set, but in short order, the zippers became awkward to use.
The plastic sides on these units is kind of flexible, and may be more robust than my earlier unit. Zippers seem like high quality, so I hope they stand up. This is the first time I’ve seen TSA locks. Nice feature.

Over the years, I’ve installed several grab bars, both in our home, and some for our neighbors. This unit is robust, and the flange hiding the attaching flange works nicely. As with most instructions, they say to locate the 2x4 studs, and screw the flange into those. Obviously, this would be best, but when installing on thick porcelain tile (clear to the ceiling) with cement board behind it, it is pretty much impossible to locate the stud. I’m sure the majority of the users have this issue. It’s too bad they don’t include hardware for this type of installation. If you are drilling through porcelain tile, you will need special drill bits. The brushed nickel finish looks nice, but there were a Read More

I've been making some fancy pens, and some of the pen blanks I've used are acrylic. To finish them after turning, you use a series sandpapers, ending up with this 1500. After this application, I use a liquid polish that is normally used to finish of the acrylic headlights. Project turned out very nice. For my application, I used one sheet per pen. The grits I used were 150, 220, 360, 600, 1500.

Interesting thought. I'm afraid this texture would not match, as the orange peal finish is more of a soft finish, where as the stucco (being made with high content of sand) is a rougher finish. Home Depot does sell stucco patch, but it's not spray on. It would be nice if that was an option. Not sure if the stucco patch is a sand base, but you would want that. Obviously, you can buy a bag of stucco mix, but I'm sure it would be more than you want. If you go this direction, I'd use a sponge to "dap" the finish on, and wash away the excess stucco on either side of the crack before it dries.
If you decide to use wall texture, I think I'd lean toward the water base instead of the oil base. You will be painting either one, which should make it water resistant, but with the water base, you will be able to wash away the excess plaster on both sides of the repair after it dries, which I think will do a better job of hiding the repair. Also, I'd practice on a piece of scrap material, to see if this indeed is the texture you want. We live in Arizona, with lots of stucco homes, and I've never seen a stucco wall that had this soft orange peel finish. However, if the crack is narrow, and you can successfully wash away the plaster from the sides, then this may be an option. Read Less

A fast-setting, lightweight, polymer-modified, cement-based grout that offers consistent color without mottling or shading, regardless of tile type, temperature or humidity. Creates dense joints that provide more stain resistance than standard cement grouts. Cures quickly and develops high early-strength to accommodate grout joints from 1/16 in. to 1/2 in. Prism may be used for interior or exterior installations, including floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains and pools.

The old grout job cleared too much grout between the tiles and it should really be refilled or be topped off with new grout. I would never bother to chip out the old grout, but I would consider going to the effort of applying fresh grout on top of the old if I have some chance at sucess.

I think the chance of success is slim. If you had a minimum depth of about 0.1", or if the spacing is less than this, then perhaps the depth could match the spacing.
