The MILWAUKEE® 4 Piece Drywall Screw Setters provide ideal depth control when installing drywall. The adjustable screw depth setters have a collar that automatically stops the tool from overdriving, providing users with consistent screw depths while preventing damage to the drywall. The drywall screw setter bits are insert style featuring a 1/4" hex shank intended for use in Milwaukee Drill Drivers.

About 25 years ago, I had a special drywall screw gun. Can’t remember why I didn’t like it, but I got rid of it. It was a corded unit, and that may have been the main objection. Anyway, since then I always just used a standard cordless drill with a Phillips head driver. Yes, occasionally the screw got driven in too deep. I also kept the drill handy when I put the first coat of plaster on, as I could still give the screw another half turn in, so it would be below the surface. A little awkward. One of the big advantages of the bit holder was the sliding sleeve which held the screw in position while I powered the drill. My older Orbit valve developed a leak out of the Anti-Siphon valve. I couldn't find a seal kit for that model, so had to buy a new unit. Glad they are not too expensive. The initial installation was hard plumbed, so it was a fair amount of work to install this new one. I now have couplers, so any future replacement will be a snap.

This is probably the forth diamond saw blade I’ve had. However, this is the first with the segmented rim. A couple items I noticed. This blade is thinner (approximately 0.80” vs. 0.90”) at the cutting rim. I think this is an advantage, similar to the thin kerf table saw blades. The other difference is the height of the cutting rim. This blade has a ½” ring, vs. 0.25” on my older blade. I’m guessing this is to help give additional clearance to the blade when cutting with a hand held 4.5” grinder. However, I suspect there is another advantage. One of my projects I made bull nose edging on tile, where I needed the tile width wider than what is available in the store. I use one of these grinders Read More

One of my projects I made bull nose edging on tile, where I needed the tile width wider than what is available in the store. I use one of these grinders to basically round over the edge, and finish off the edge with a belt sander. Turns out very nice. I suspect this ½” rim would have some advantage for this too. I also like the 4.5” diameter, vs. the 4” diameter of the other blade. There are times when the extra cutting depth has an advantage. It appears the diamond concentration on the blade is the same as the other units I’ve had. Read Less

This is a neat unit. Very attractive. However, in my application, I have a little concern. We have glass panels on the doors, and I’m somewhat concerned about someone just breaking the glass, reaching in and opening the dead bolt. In the past, I’ve used dead bolts that require a key on both the inside and outside, and when we are not on vacation, we leave the key in the door. This is actually no less secure than having a knob to open. However, when we go on vacation, we pull the key. I would have liked it better if that was an option on this lock. I also like the feature that it uses Kwikset’s SmartKey feature (easy to have common keys with the other door locks). If your home was a rental Read More

No, I do not recommend this product.
          Negative issues with the gloves:
          1. The size is off by one size. I usually get by with Large. These gloves are XL, and still marginal in size.
          2. The fit around the fingers is tight. I don’t consider my hands fat, and know several people with hands much bigger than mine, but the fingers are too tight.
          3. I used the gloves when I pruned my lemon tree (for those who don’t know it, lemon trees have some sharp thorns). Anyway, the rubber underside of the gloves was basically worthless against the thorns.
          4. At the end of the job, my hands sweat a little (due to the rubber underside). With the gloves fitting so tight around the fingers, they were very difficult to remove. Kind of

Kind of reminded me of the “Chinese handcuffs” we had when we were kids. The harder you pull the tip of the glove’s fingers, the tighter then went.

You will need to call your local Home Depot store. These questions go to customers who have bought the set. Not complicated to assemble, but you will need a wrench. I'm thinking it would be easier to assemble these at home than to bring the assembled set home. If you have no wrenches, open the box, and take one of the nuts to Home Depot, and buy a box wrench to fit it (shouldn't be expensive).

Depends on what kind of circuit breakers your house has. The newer breakers are arc fault, and if you have them, then this will trip the breaker for you. However, the majority of houses don't have these. Obviously, you can check the ground fault circuit, but there usually aren't many of these, so it wouldn't be hard to figure those out manually. This repair kit is designed for the two piece toilet, but the main flushing hardware (if your toilet uses the 3" diameter tube) will be the same. This kit also includes the lower stationary "seat" which the flush valve sits on, (this is the hardware that is different between the one piece and two piece toilet) but it's fairly rare that portion would be damaged. I used this kit for our one piece toilet, and threw the lower portion of the hardware away.
I assume you reviewed the video Kohler has on the internet on how to service this. If not, look it up.
I like our Kohler toilets except for the problems I've had with their flushing hardware. As I noted above, I replaced them both within about a year, and then had to replace one of the others again about 2 years later.

Yes, you can drive a screw through it, but you would need sufficient support material behind it to hold any weight. This is basically just 1/8" hardboard, which isn't very strong by itself.
