This is actually a tough product to review. I've used this brand the last couple years, and our lemon and grapefruit have done well. Don't know how well they would have done without it. I've been told to normally fertilize the trees on Labor Day and Memorial Day. However, I have an orange tree that is 3 years old, and hasn't developed any blooms. My neighbor suggested I fertilize that tree more often, thus the recent purchase.

No, I do not recommend this product.
For my hands (and I have fairly big hands), the fingers on the gloves were a little long, but the fit around the fingers was tighter than what I prefer. This made it difficult to put on and off. To remove, it was impossible to pull the glove off by pulling the fingers.
I use rubber gloves when applying stain to wood. I’ve had some disposable gloves dissolve with oil base stains. I rubbed some mineral spirits on the glove, but could see no reaction, so I expect they will hold up for this application.

I was surprised how heavy the cast side members are. Certainly robust. The unit is designed to blend in with faucet design that has square corners and bright chrome. In our application, the vanity is in a different room, so it wasn’t a concern.
The brackets stick out from the wall 6 ½”. The cross bars can be trimmed if the 24” width is too wide. There is a template with the instruction sheet for mounting the retaining brackets. If you need a shorter installation, subtract the actual width of the mounting bracket dimension from the distance noted on the template, and this is the amount you trim the cross bars.

A decent unit, but the detent feels a little bit crude. I appears to work best by extending the blade all the way, then let it fall back into the detent as you apply pressure to the blade.
The blade can only be installed from one direction. Not sure why they designed it that way. If you look closely, they have the metal stamped on which way to insert the blade.

          A couple key discussion items.
First, I was questioning if the 18-gauge nails would be sufficient for ¾” oak flooring. My flooring project is still a couple months off at my daughter’s house, but I decided to get gun early, and run some sample pieces. The thinner gauge nails are better for doing less damage which occasionally can split the tongue, which is a definite positive, but I was questioning on the retention power of the thinner nail in the plywood sub-floor. The only ¾” plywood I had was oak veneer, so it may be a little denser that sub-floor, but this is what my tests are based on. I nailed down a couple rows, and used a pry bar to lift them loose. I had no way of measuring the force, but it seemed ample rigid to me.
Another discussion item is the decision to buy verses rent. I rented a pneumatic unit about 6 years ago for the hardwood flooring in our previous home. I usually work alone, and the project took longer than I initially thought. A couple factors I wasn’t thinking about. I’m kind of fussy about the wood, and certain boards look better under the kitchen cabinets or in a closet than they do in the middle of the floor. This ate up some extra time sorting boards as I opened the bundles. However, the real kicker was finding some small holes (wood mites). I refused to use these boards. A representive from the mill called me, and explained the kiln temperature is high enough to kill the mites. However, you have no insurance the mites didn’t infect the wood after the kiln. I had a similar problem with wood mites on some regular oak boards. Anyway, my flooring boards were special order, so I needed to order more. (more delays).
Another discussion item is being cordless. Many times, the hose on pneumatic units can be a pain for snagging on items, so I’m expecting this unit being cordless being a nice blessing.
The unit has an adaptor to change the 45-degree nailing angle to a straight down nailing position. They suggest you can also use the gun in this capacity for cabinet work and molding with this attachment. While this is true, the gun is kind of heavy, so it won’t be too convenient for those type of applications. Obviously, if you don’t have a lighter gun available, this will work.

This metal angle is commonly used for constructing bicycle racks, bed frames, motor mounts and many other utilitarian functions. Common types of angles include: solid, punched hole, slotted hole and solid or slotted offset. Slotted and punched hole angle is ideal for use in metal racks, storage shelving, garage door track frames and corner bracing. Answer:
Yes, this will rust if left unprotected. Painting it will keep it from rusting. Aluminum would not rust, nor would Stainless Steel. Both are a lot more expensive. Stainless Steel is often much harder and more difficult to machine in a home workshop.

These questions only go to other customers who have the tool. I checked Home Depot's web site, and the link to order showed up on my computer. Also indicated they were on hand at a local Home Depot store. However, I see the Home Depot site indicates a new package is offered, this tool with a free battery, and they are currently unavailable.

          Answer:
I would not recommend it. I think it would be too tacky, and grab too quickly. I'd recommend painting the fiberglass with a high quality flat paint (perhaps oil base). Talk to the paint guys to see what they recommend for good adhesion. Once dry, the surface then should behave similar to a standard wall for applying wallpaper.
