Love it! My kitchen counter and back wall have a textured, laminate surface -- supposed to look like granite or something. The tiles stick perfectly to it. After you rub it with the smoother, the textured surface can be seen slightly inside the tile but I don't think it affects the look even one bit. I absolutely love it. I'd say it looks like real tile maybe 75%. People say they love it and then they always touch it...so I think they are not positive if it's real, if you know what I mean. It's a 200% improvement over what I had, so it's a choice. If you can tell it's not ceramic tile, who cares if it looks great.

Easy to put up...it lifts up easily so you can re-position it until you are satisfied, and run a smoother across it. (like a credit card or plastic pan scraper) Cut carefully with a sharp blade. I found it was better to have it a sixteenth inch too big and trim with a sharp scissors if necessary...and I always measured carefully. I did it alone and it took about 8-9 hours for my small kitchen. Read Less

The durable and comfortable Wooster 2 in. Angle Sash Brush makes painting easier on the wall-to-ceiling line, window frames and more. Wooster Shortcut features a soft, Shergrip elastomeric handle designed to provide extra comfort and control. Luxe is Berkshire Flooring’s most luxurious carpet tile. You can really sink your toes into this super soft, thick dense carpet. You will find the feel is awesome with looks to match. The look is refined and the color offerings are soothing. Made from ultra-soft fiber so soft you may forget that you have furniture. The tiles are 24 in. x 24 in. and come with an attached cushion and pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive so you simply peel and stick them to the floor. Installation is easy, the only tools that you need are a square, a tape measure and a carpet knife. The carpet is made from solution dyed continuous filament ultra-soft fiber which is inherently stain and wear resistant. The carpet tile has an attached cushion to further enhance the comfort of this product. All Berkshire Flooring carpet tiles are environmentally friendly and carpet tiles reduce waste by 15-20% compared with broadloom carpet. You will love that they are easy to handle and that they are the no glue, no tacks, no tapes, no odor way to a simply beautiful floor.

I have a fully tiled condo but I really wanted wall-to-wall carpeting in certain rooms, so this was all I could really use so I hoped it was nice. It exceeded my expectations. Very easy to lay it but you do need to be picky...lift and lay each square until you absolutely get it as right as you can.
Tips from a novice: Start in a lesser noticeable place....like the side the couch will be on top of, the back of a room, etc....because you will get better and more knowledgeable with each square you put down. (And all the best square laying is in the back of the room in my case! Live and learn!)

Number one tip and I have not seen it mentioned anywhere...lay it in a running brick pattern. I absolutely recommend this. You will need to half the first square you lay but it is a must. I didn't start doing this until halfway through and it made SO much difference. When you just lay them in an even row, you will always end up with 4 corners meeting and that is not good because it is much more noticeable...especially because you will NOT always have them perfect and it really matters. Not having 4 corners meeting is a must in my opinion.
Invest in a good carpet knife and change the blade frequently...more frequently than you even think you should. I also got good carpet scissor thinking that would be easier but a knife with a fresh blade was crazy better.
There are some places where you can very much see lines and there are others where you can't see anything, it just depends on your skill (and patience!) I guess. Doesn't matter, because it is lovely, plush and soft and I love it. Read Less

You can buy it by the sheet in the store instead of a case of 12. That's what I did. I looked at it online often, so I saw it in the store and bought a few squares and scotch-taped them up. I loved it instantly and I bought the rest of the cases I needed that same week.

Oh also, I forgot to put in my review but be careful when choosing squares. There are a couple of different tile layouts and it's good to mix them up so you don't end up with one color strip of the same color tiles in one place. Read Less

The padded peel and stick traditional tread is extra soft for extreme comfort and reliability. The ease of doing it yourself in seconds with a simple peel and stick method combined with stain proof fiber and a super soft attached cushion for extra performance is great for helping navigate slippery steps. All are pet and family friendly with wide width options available in the Simply Seamless collection.

I want to use these treads only when I have company and then remove them after for reuse at another time. Will these work for that purpose?

Yes, but it is not what you would normally consider adhesive. It is barely tacky to the touch when you are laying it down....so you can lift and put back until you get it right. After it is down for a few days and walked on it is adhered to the surface.
