The MILWAUKEE M12 medium Heated AXIS Layering System with GRIDIRON Work Shell s are designed to protect users from the coldest weather conditions on the job site. Powered by M12 REDLITHIUM Battery Technology, the AXIS heated work jackets use carbon fiber heating elements to create and distribute heat to the chest, back and shoulders. A one-touch LED controller heats up the battery heated jacket to three heat settings, creating a comfortable heat for any environment or weather. The heated jacket has a new Quick-Heat function that allows users to feel heat three times faster than our previous jackets and market competitors. Like all of Milwaukee's other products, these jackets are built strong to last long with new AXIS Ripstop Polyester providing a lightweight, compressible design that can be used as an inner layer or mid-layer jacket and protects users from wind and water to survive the elements. Paired with M12 Heat On Demand, the optimal insulation in both jackets provides users with ultimate warmth. GRIDIRON Ripstop Polyester delivers durability without sacrificing mobility so users can survive the job site. The heated coats are available in black. These s come with the M12 battery heated jacket and GRIDIRON work shell, one M12 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 battery and an M12 compact charger and power source. Gender: male. Age Group: adult.

No, I do not recommend this product.
The fabric is really nice, the sizing is good - I'm 6' and 180 lbs and the medium fit without being baggy. A little snug with just a t-shirt on underneath.
The jacket uses the same M12 battery as the tools, which is nice for compatibility, but it is really bulky to have in your pocket.
It comes with an adapter for the M12 battery that also lets you plug in and charge USB devices. The booklet that came with it says an M18 adapter is also available (but apparently not included).
I was a little confused about what the 3-in-1 jacket did. Only the inner layer is heated. The outer shell is weatherproof, but not heated. I had the impression (my mistake) that the outer shell would be Read More

I was a little confused about what the 3-in-1 jacket did. Only the inner layer is heated. The outer shell is weatherproof, but not heated. I had the impression (my mistake) that the outer shell would be heated for rainy days when you may not want the inner part.
I really have the impression that only the shoulder area was being heated. I even asked my daughter to try it on and she had the same impression. Then I got out the thermal camera (doesn't everyone have one? ;-) ) and it really seems like the shoulders are getting almost all the heat - The picture is taken on high (the red light was on).
The outer shell has slits on the chest and back so you can reach in and control the hi-med-low-off switch and to access the battery pack
As for drawbacks - I think the outer shell should have zipper pockets to secure things like tools and keys and not open pockets. Read Less

These are very robust impact-rated inch (standard, imperial, etc) sockets with built in universal joints using a "pin less" X-core type of universal joint. The one downside to them is that they are quite large for the application, and may be too large to fit into the tight places one usually needs to fit a socket and universal joint.
Don't know if its a new trend in sockets, or if there is something special about these, but they went to the trouble of engraving two warnings on every single socket - one says "Warning Wear Safety Goggles" and the other says "Do Not Hold Socket While In Use". Wearing PPE is always a good idea, so that will go without further comment. The second warning Read More

Wearing PPE is always a good idea, so that will go without further comment. The second warning puzzles me the most - I almost always would stabilize a socket like this by holding it gently while turning it with a hand wrench or a power impact tool, and don't understand why I shouldn't. Seems better than having it flop around. But... we have been warned!
          The set includes these sizes - 3/4-inch, 11/16-inch, 5/8-inch, 9/16-inch, 1/2-inch, 7/16-inch, 3/8-inch.
Two little complaints - the plastic rail is pretty flimsy and the sockets fall off pretty easily. They didn't align the printed sizes with the flats, so some of them can easily be seen on the rail, and some are rotated to the side and can't easily be read. The sockets also have engraved sizes, but those are quite hard to read. Read Less

This LED ceiling light fixture offers a sleek, modern design. The solid white shade diffuses the light evenly, you won't see any dark spots or shadows. The use of this matte black finish and the sophistication of this style has taken hold in today's home interior light fixtures. This ceiling flushmount is designed to be maintenance free and save money. The LED light engine produces the light of (5) 75-Watt light bulbs using only 56-Watt of electricity, and there are no bulbs to replace. These flush mounted ceiling lights are built from steel to last for years to come; they are backed by a 3 year limited manufacturer's warranty. These light fixtures install easily, and the LEDs last for 34 years at 4 hours per day.

No, I do not recommend this product.
pretty neat large LED light fixture. A solid replacement for a surface mount flourescent fixture. The black paint on the metal frame looks plastic-y - I would have preferred something that looked more like cast iron (or just more like metal).
It's a pretty heavy fixture - somewhere around 12 pounds, and it comes with an appropriately strong mounting plate that attaches to the ceiling with four anchors - and those anchors are spaced about 16-1/2" apart - just enough that it makes it very tricky to land all four screws into standard 16" OC joists or framing. I would like to have seen more mouting holes to give some flexibility in mounting based on the local conditions. You can use drywall Read More

I would like to have seen more mouting holes to give some flexibility in mounting based on the local conditions. You can use drywall anchors of some sort, but I always prefer to attach into wood when I can.
I was fooled by the photo at first - it is not a perspective image of a round fixture - the fixture really is oval in shape - it is 32 inches long and 18 inches wide.
Installation is pretty simple and even elegant. You mount the mounting plate to the ceiling, hang the fixture using some included steel safety cables, get the wires connected properly, then slide the fixture onto the mounting plate with some tapered slots.
The label says it consumes 56 watts. It is rated to produce 3700 lumens. That is a not very favorable 66 lumens per watt. The better LED bulbs available now are rated at 100 to 130 lumens per watt. The poor efficiency is the primary reason I gave this three stars instead of four. It could realistically use half this amount of power (based on other LED's for sale at Home Depot - not theoretical gadgets). Read Less

The 48 in. Wallboard Square is made from high-grade aluminum alloy for long-lasting durability. Additionally, 5 steel rivets and 2 steel roll pins secure the 1/4 in. thick, heavy-duty head to the body. The heavy-duty head also offers a 1/2 in. working surface for added stability and ease of use on all material.

It's very square! The scale accuracy is a different story... Metal is 1/8-inch thick. Good contrast with black printing against bright yellow paint.
I compared the squareness against my metal machinist square I use to setup woodworking equipment and it was right on. Awesome!
Then I checked the numbers on the scale against a very good metal rule and was really surprised. From either end, the scale is 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch of an inch off. I hope this is done on purpose to give you some wiggle room for drywall work, but don't know?! A little weird and disappointing. I prefer making my own adjustments like that.

          Answer:
It could, but would be pretty slow. Would be my first choice to precisely remove one broken tile (using a diamond abrasive blade).
I would suggest a SDS or SDS-Max impact hammer with a chisel bit if you want to do a large area. That setup will go as fast as you can keep up.

          Answer:
Yes, you have to get a diamond abrasive oscillating blade (or a carbide abrasive blade if you aren't doing that many cuts). Those blades only plunge in about 1-inch, so you won't get all the way through a brick from one side. Home Depot sells those blades. It will definitely be slower than using a diamond blade in a high-speed cut off tool or a proper diamond saw.

          Answer:
I don't think so. Most of the heat seems to be in the top of the shoulders.
