All I could say when I checked out this knife was why in the world have I not looked at a newer utility knife sooner and where has this one been all my working life. This thing is so far ahead of the older ones I have it’s not funny. Milwaukee has nailed it on this one. Everything about it is smooth operating and easy to use. And none of it requires tools. The spare blade holder flips out as a spring loaded thing like a blade and uses an ingenious magnet to hold the blades. It holds them secure yet makes them super easy to grab. I love that. It’s simple yet clever. And the blade holding mechanism makes swapping the blade as easy as I could ever imagine a blade swap being. My other knives Read More

This is made strong although light so I figure it will hold up. But if I should break it, I’ll run right out and get another one. Zero doubt on that. This is my new favorite by a country mile and it sits in my nail bag where it belongs while the others are no more. Milwaukee must be doing a lot of listening to folks that use their tools because it is plain to see some good thought went into every aspect of the design on this knife. Read Less

The Milwaukee 25 ft. W Blade Tape Measures have the longest, straightest standout in the industry giving users up to 14 ft. of standout for extended reach and efficiency on the jobsite. The straight standout is highly usable and makes it easier to measure long distances alone. The tape measures are wear and impact-resistant with nylon bond blade protection and an additional anti-tear coating on the first 6 of the blade, reducing tape tear. Built to withstand the jobsite, the measuring tapes are constructed with a 5-point reinforced frame for impact resistance.

This is something I have not said in a very long time. This is hands down the best tape measure I’ve ever seen. And I’ve used many over the last 40 years. I’d give this thing 6 stars if I could. I have a few that have been my favorites over the years and a few newer ones that are high on my list but this one just stepped up the game and blew away the others. Here’s why:
          1. The standout really is great on this one. It gets a little iffy out at the 14 ft limit. But at 12 ft it is solid and can be moved around without fear of breaking over. It’s extra wide and very strong. This is really great when working alone on a piece or doing something like measuring up a rake.

It’s extra wide and very strong. This is really great when working alone on a piece or doing something like measuring up a rake.
          2. It is super easy to read. The extra width helps out in that area too of course I can put my glasses away.
          3. The double edged end along with the opening on the bottom in place of the typical button is genius. You’ll likely use the push lock a lot less with this. Being able to control it with a finger directly on the blade is superior to any button or mechanism I have ever seen. Smart.
          4. It has numbering on both sides. So many times I have wished for that when working overhead or in some other awkward position. That and the 2-sided end clip are ingenious. And it is not wimpy in size either sticking out plenty to hang on whatever you need to hang it on.
          5. The wire clip beats the heck out of the old flat steel ones because it goes over a belt smooth. The flat ones have a tendency to hang on belts. Especially thicker belts like I wear.
          6. The casing has a nice rubberized tackiness to it that matches my other favorite tapes.
The only thing I would change is that it has a bit of a glossy finish and I like the matte finish like that used on my narrower Milwaukee tape. But that is a very minor tick.

          Pros: great stiffness/standout, cool features

Got the last one of these evidently for many miles around. At the sale price we love it. The one we got had two of the LED's pushed inside so that is perhaps why it was still there. But we knew that was an easy fix. All I did was remove the back reach in and pop the LEDs back in. Good as new. took a few ,minutes to fix. At 50% off it was a great deal. We just happened to see them while picking up an online order for other Christmas decos. It pays to browse in person from time to time.

Great for warming up small spaces around your home or office, this Comfort Zone oscillating ceramic heater offers plenty of power in a compact package. The heater is easy to fit onto a side table or on the floor beside your desk to help combat drafts, and the heat is fan-forced for wide dispersion. To help reduce heating costs, you can turn your home's thermostat down a degree or two and use the space heater to keep the specific room you are occupying warm and comfortable. The Comfort Zone ceramic heater boasts an oscillation function that rotates it 70 degrees to help disperse heat more evenly throughout your space A fan-only setting allows the unit to double as a cooling fan during the warmer months, so you can get plenty of use out of this heater all year round. The ceramic heater features two easily-accessible knobs at the top that allow you to quickly adjust the thermostat and switch between the high and low heat settings to get just the right output for your space A simple switch at the bottom turns the oscillation function on and off. A tip-over switch automatically turns the portable oscillating heater off if it is knocked over to help prevent fires, while a built-in sensor helps to prevent the unit from overheating. A molded handle keeps it easy to carry, and heat-resistant housing keeps the exterior cool to help prevent burned fingers when you transport it to another space Color: Black.

This little heater is a bit smaller than ones I have used in the space in the past. The oscillation works well and the fan is maybe just a little quieter than my other heater. This is a nice looking little heater but it is smallish. Howecver from reading the dimensions I was not surprised by this. It is built out of some fairly light sheet metal but that said it is still heavier than your typical small heater built out of plastic. I do like the feet and how they hold it up. It gets pretty warm on the bottom so I would use real caution about where I placed it. I have a 12x16 enclosed porch that is not on our central air but we keep it heated in the winter with a portable heater and cooled with a portable A/C. In the past I used small ceramic heaters that I sat on a pedestal about 3 feet tall that I built myself. I like this heater since I can sit it directly in the floor and it is heavy enough I don’t worry about my small dogs knocking it over. It heats the space well. I don’t know how it would do with a bigger space. Here near the TN/AL line it is not terribly cold most of the time. But the past month we have had some sub freezing days and nights and it has done OK on those. My space is insulated well and has walls finished in stone inside and outside with a concrete floor over a crawl space. That stone is a pretty good conductor of heat. But this little heater keeps the room toasty. That helps keep cold air out of the house as the dogs are taken in and out through that room to the back yard. The thermostat took some experimenting to find the setting I needed to keep the temp just right. But I have found this to be true of all small heaters regardless if they list an actual temp on the dial or not. One question - is it worth the cost ? That depends on your desires. If you don’t care about the visual effects here (they are in fact pretty well done) then probably not. You can buy a heater without the visuals for less. But for the heat it provides and the visual effects of the flame it is not bad. So it comes down to what you want. I personally like the flame effect. The only assembly is putting the legs on. That was pretty easy although the fitment of the parts is less than stellar. Took me maybe 5 minutes to put them on using an electric screwdriver. I would not use my 18V drill because the screws are small and would be easily stripped. The heater sits on the other side of a pair of french doors from my bed and it is quiet enough that it does not bother me at night. So it is not a noisy heater. That is a plus. Read Less
Pros: Looks Great, easy/little assembly required, relatively quiet, a little small perhaps for the visuals
Cons: hot part bottom could be neg for some flooring

I don't really have much of a question just an amusing observation to pass along and since you can't modify reviews here it is.
I put this up a week ago and it is indeed really nice - large, solid, well finished and easy to open and close. Piece of cake to mount.
Today I had a post-it note left in the box with the days mail from the mail carrier lady. It said she loves this box !
It was kind of funny to see and I'm glad she likes it too. Obviously she appreciates a smooth opening and closing box.
I guess if you have to open and close them all day that would not go unnoticed. some certainly require more effort.

To make this a question and thus kosher to put here I ask the populace...
Has anyone else had a compliment from the mail carrier ?
          I'm just curious.
