Viagrow Pro Plugs are perfect for cuttings and germinating seeds. Derived from naturally occurring peat moss and organic materials, they are full of beneficial microbes that help to colonize roots, maximize nutrient uptake and provide the perfect air-to-water ratio for vigorous plant growth. This kit includes the Pro Plugs 50 Site Insert and a Viagrow Standard Flat. Pro Plugs are easy to use. They should be kept moist but not wet and should never be allowed to sit in water. Keep the tray covered with a humidity dome so the Pro Plugs do not dry too quickly. You may stop using the dome after the first leaves have formed on your seedlings. If supplementing natural light or using artificial light as the sole light source, we recommend using a fluorescent grow light like a T5 fluorescent. Pro Plugs are best utilized in conjunction with soil and some soilless mixes such as coco coir, Pro-Mix and other like medias.

You know, I was pleasantly surprised with these pro-plugs. I filled all 50 plugs up with 5 different kinds of lettuce seed (from reputable sources.) I wasn't sure what the results would be, but to my surprise I started getting sprouts in only 3 days. I did not use a dome. No heat mat because it was lettuce. All I did was drop a seed in each hole and move some of the soil around to cover the hole. I am using a LED quantum board for my grow light.

All I did was drop a seed in each hole and move some of the soil around to cover the hole. I am using a LED quantum board for my grow light.
I was initially surprised because when I opened the package, the growing medium was pre-wetted and I thought that it was a little too wet honestly. One thing to keep in mind is that many people also use boiling water when they pre-moisten their soil to kill fungus gnats, but with this product you are not able to do that.
I was worried that the pre-made hole would be too deep for lettuce seed, but it seemed to work out fine. Since the hole is already there, it makes it difficult for people who like to put multiple seeds in one seed cell.
The product stated that it was peat moss based medium, but there was no other information about what else was in the mix. It seemed to be more than just peat moss though.
My biggest complaint with the product is that I actually did not want to use all 50 of plugs at once, but there was no way to separate them so I just planted more than I wanted.
Another thing is that these seed cells appear to be smaller than the standard seed starting cells so you won't be able to keep your seedlings in them as long. I included a picture showing the size difference between the other.
Overall though, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and the success with this product. If you are a new gardener, feel free to give this a tray. The price is high though so it might not be economical if you are starting a lot of seeds in bulk. Read Less

These pots are exactly as expected. The plastic isn't super thick, but is not super thin. It is just a standard nursery pot. If you take good care of it, you could possibly get a few uses out of it. It would be a good buy if you got them on sale for a good price.
There is one drainage hole in the bottom and a few on the sides near the bottom.
I will be using these for multiple plantings of determinate tomatoes. Its 18 inch diameter is considered an ideal size for determinate tomatoes so I think it will work out well.

You really don't appreciate the benefit of these strong trays until you are holding this thick tray in one hand and a standard flimsy tray in the other hand at the same time. These trays are just far superior and will definitely last a long time. They are definitely a must have if you are growing your seedlings on a wire rack as they will provide the stability you need. They are super solid and not flimsy at all.
There no holes in these trays as they are meant to go under the standard seed starter cells for watering from below. If you wanted to overseed microgreens or something in these trays and you wanted drainage, you'd need to poke the holes yourself.

These lights are really pretty when the lights are on. The light reflects off the glass really nicely. Its pretty, but also not overly so. It would be a nice compromise light fixture that would appeal to anyone.
I really have no complaints, but if I had to pick something it was that the beads and the glass shades came in two separate pieces and it was annoying to install them. The fixture came with a special tool to aid in the installation. It would probably be much more difficult if you were to lose that tool and you had to uninstall and reinstall the beads for whatever reason. You can install the light bulbs without taking anything apart though so its not a big deal.
Pros: Looks Great, Nice Design, Very Bright

No, I do not recommend this product.
This product broke on its first use. Since it is made with cheap plastic parts, I could not get the showerhead pressure settings tab to move at all. I finally got it to move, but then water started pouring out of cracks around the spray nozzles. I broke it trying to use it normally. About half of the water never made it to nozzles. It was leaking all over the place. (See my pictures to see where it was leaking from.)
Also, this showerhead requires way too many installation steps. There is definitely too much assembly required. Way too many small parts. This seems unnecessary when competitors provide products that you just screw into the shower arm within a minute with no assembly Read More

          Answer:
Yes, it should work fine. You shouldn't have an issues installing. The reason they say its best for a 36 inch opening is because that allows for 3 inches on each side of the opening (so that the door overlaps the wall for privacy concerns.) With 37.5" I think you would still easily have enough door overlap and still have sufficient privacy in my opinion.

If this were mounted on a closet where privacy was not a concern, you could have an opening even closer to the 42" mark. I attached a screenshot of the pertinent numbers in the instructions manual. This product is a 42 inch door. People with larger openings will need to alter the backerboard offset referenced in the instructions to fit their needs as the instructions are optimized for a 36 inch opening with a 3 inch overlap on each side. Example: if you had a 42 inch opening you wouldn't want to offset the backerboard at all. For a 37.5 opening, you'd probably want to offset your backerboard by 2.25" instead of 3" so the door overlap would be equal on both sides. Sorry for the complicated answer. Read Less
