This Brita Grand pitcher provides very good tasting water. The lid to this model does stay in place. I have not had any issues with the lid leaking at all. It is leak-free for me.
I know with other Brita models, people have commented on black specs from the filter. I did not experience this, but it likely depends on the batch of filters that you get so your experience may vary. I have seen zero black specs. I rinsed the filter well and let it drain for a good long while before use.

You must keep the pitcher refrigerated. A co-worker of mine kept her pitcher on her desk and it did develop green algae like a fish tank. If you refrigerate yours and don't let it sit out on the counter with moisture in it, then you should not have this problem. You should also wash your pitcher each time you replace the filter.
Things I did not care for:
The sensor on my pitcher never worked out of the box. I will just have to replace it after two months and try to remember.
The reservoir where you fill it from the sink is small. It took a little longer than I liked to fill up the pitcher for this reason. I was also unsure how much to put in so I overfilled it and some water remained in the reservoir.
Overall, I do recommend this product. It is nice to have cold, clean water always available at a fraction of the price. Read Less

This box level is sturdy aluminum that will hold up to being dropped a few times. The sides of the level are smooth so that they will not interfere with your readings.
The bubble in each vial is a good size. You want the bubble in a level to be nearly the exact same size as the two guide-lines for a more accurate reading. A bubble that is too small or too big will cause your leveling measurements to not be as accurate.
In my video, I demonstrate that this level provides an accurate reading. If you turn the level upside down and facing different directions, the bubble should be in the exact same place each time as long as you sit the level in the exact same spot each time. See the video for Read More

Standard Phillips are 0-4. This particular screw driver is a size #0 is the smallest of the STANDARD sizes. This is important to note because there are smaller Phillips head sizes used for electronics. There is #00, #000, #0000.
          - This size #0 can be used for the screws in a lot of computers such as replacing RAM or fixing a Macbook. Sometimes you will need to use a size #00 for computers with even smaller screws in them. So having both a size #0 and a #00 would be great if you are commonly working on computers.
          - I believe I used a size #000 for replacing a thermostat and fixing a cell phone.
          - #2 is considered the most standard because it can be used with the most screw sizes.
I hope this helps you when trying to decide which screwdriver to buy.
It is always good to have a wide variety of sizes for trial and error on what would be best for your project. Read Less

This product did not clean the severely burned on areas of my gas range. I have included pictures to show the type of burned on messes that this product was not effective on. The product did clean less severe areas as well as other products. You may have more luck on an electric range rather than gas. Realistically, I'm not sure if any product could help me, so if yours looks like mine -- don't expect any miracles.
The included sponge does a good job of cleaning. It scrubs as well as a brillo pad would without the risk of scratching the surface.

Make sure you do research and maybe watch some videos on how to properly use a paint sprayer before you actually tackle your project. I did not do this, unfortunately.
          Setting up:
          1. You pour your paint into a flexible bag-like plastic cup.
          2. you squeeze this bag to get all of the air out of it.
          3. You set the switch to "prime" and pull the trigger for 10 seconds.
          4. Switch to "spray" and you are ready to go.
If you stop spraying for more than a couple minutes you have to repeat all these steps.
          What went wrong for me:
          - I squeezed the bag to release air, but I didn't have it aligned properly so I squeezed out most of the paint all over my hand, arms, and feet. Wow I made a HUGE Read More

          - I squeezed the bag to release air, but I didn't have it aligned properly so I squeezed out most of the paint all over my hand, arms, and feet. Wow I made a HUGE mess.
For that reason I am not sure I entirely like the bag application even thought it was user error on my part.
-I couldn't figure out the proper pressure to set the gun to (1 through 10) so It applied an uneven coat. When I tried to go back over it, there was then too much paint and the whole wall started dripping.
You should do a practice run on cardboard or something before the real thing.
Once I got going, it covered a wall very quickly.
Does it actually save time compared to paint brush and roller application?
Short answer: No, not at all, but it depends on what your project is.
With the paint brush and roller, I cut in with the paint brush and I don't use painters tape. I usually don't bother cleaning brushes or rollers and just throw them away and buy new ones later. I can do this traditional method pretty quickly with very little prep work or clean up.
With the sprayer: ***YOU MUST DO A LOT OF PREP WORK.***
The air from the gun creates a strong gust of wind so you must cover what you don't want painted with something very sturdy. Cover all basements with painters tape and lay cardboard on the floor. A thin, unsecured drop cloth isn't going to cut it.
I covered 3/4 of a room with cardboard and didn't think it would reach the other side. IT DID. Paint was everywhere and it even traveled down the hallway. The excess spray was rediculous.
I did not close and stop my HVAC vents so my A/C system actually carried paint dust through the entire house. Don't be like me.
Wear a mask and goggles. The entire inside of my nose was covered in a layer of paint. Don't be like me.
You also have to run water through the sprayer when you are done.
This paint sprayer would be ideal for spraying something that would be difficult to paint with a paint brush and roller, such as a highly detailed door. (As long as you can do it outside.) Read Less

          Answer:
Yes, it should work fine. You shouldn't have an issues installing. The reason they say its best for a 36 inch opening is because that allows for 3 inches on each side of the opening (so that the door overlaps the wall for privacy concerns.) With 37.5" I think you would still easily have enough door overlap and still have sufficient privacy in my opinion.

If this were mounted on a closet where privacy was not a concern, you could have an opening even closer to the 42" mark. I attached a screenshot of the pertinent numbers in the instructions manual. This product is a 42 inch door. People with larger openings will need to alter the backerboard offset referenced in the instructions to fit their needs as the instructions are optimized for a 36 inch opening with a 3 inch overlap on each side. Example: if you had a 42 inch opening you wouldn't want to offset the backerboard at all. For a 37.5 opening, you'd probably want to offset your backerboard by 2.25" instead of 3" so the door overlap would be equal on both sides. Sorry for the complicated answer. Read Less

          Answer:
The bottom of the backboard for the mounting rail is mounted at 84.25 inches so your opening must be smaller than this. You are cutting it way close. I measured my door with rails attached and came up with 84 inches. I think you'd be able to see daylight coming through so you'd be better off going with a taller door. My opening was 82 inches and it worked fine, but I'd say max height should be capped at Read More

          Answer:
From the floor to the tallest point of the roller track wheels is around 89 inches. You have no where near enough space to install this. I did not trim the door and installed the track at the exact height specifications from Jeld-Wen.
