This is the coolest thing we have added to our house in years.
Our old shower hardware had separate hot and cold faucets. First the water would be cold, then it would be really hot, then we'd regulate it to the right temperature. But then as the cold water reached the house from the street, it would be cold again. The first five minutes of every shower was just trying to keep from being chilled or scalded.

Now we just flip the switch and Hansgrohe regulates the temperature and does a much better job than we ever did. It takes 15 seconds for the shower to reach the right temp and then it just stays there. If someone flushes the toilet or runs water in the sink, the shower just adjusts. A lot of new showers use a technology called pressure-balancing which evens out the hot and cold extremes. But this faucet uses a better technology that actually has a mechanical thermostat imbedded in the diverter valve.
Controls are very simple and intuitive. The top lever goes clockwise 1/4 turn to turn on the shower. The bottom lever sets the temperature. My wife likes it a little hotter than I do, so when I get in the shower I just shift the lever a little bit clockwise, and when she gets in she does the opposite. Overall I love it and would recommend it.

SharkBite ProLock fittings are a versatile and innovative full-flow plumbing system utilizing push lock fitting technology and engineered specifically for use with SharkBite PE-RT and PEX pipe. The SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Tee intuitive design makes for one of the simplest and most dependable fittings on the market. No tools are required to make a connection. They use a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe when fully inserted, and an EPDM O-Ring to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal. The Twist-to-lock technology ensures maximum security. When twisted into place with indicator arrows aligned, the locking cap locks the pipe in place and creates an audible click. Removing a SharkBite fitting is just as easy with no tools needed; simply twist the cap turn counterclockwise to unlock then depress collet against the fitting to remove the pipe. ProLock fittings are suitable for hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating applications. They have been specifically designed for the Professional Plumber. Code approved for behind-the-wall installations. 25-year SharkBite System warranty when used with SharkBite PE-RT & PEX pipe. Color: Black.

Easy and simple to install, allows for errors to be fixed. It is a permanent as you'd like it to be.
We ran water lines from one part of the basement to another, since we decided to build an additional bathroom. We were fearful about cutting into the old copper tubing and attaching a new CPVC or sharkbite pipe.
After careful measuring, we inserted the copper pipes to the bottom and the top, added the new pipe to the middle portion and done.
No leaks no issues. So much easier and safer to work when you don't have to solder, glue or worry about a mistake. Best plumbing invention in years.

Can you close the door with the towel bar on the left? In other words, the picture shows the towel bar on the right, but I would like it to be on the left. We have an entry door that opens onto the right side and I fear it will hit the towel bar. I would actually prefer it to close this way anyway b/c our shower head is on the right, also.

The classroom function has a cylinder on the outside of the door so teachers cannot be locked out from the inside of the classroom. From the inside, the door is always unlocked so students can't get locked in. Constructed with a robust cylindrical locking mechanism, this lock is designed for heavy use doors. It is extremely robust mechanically and has a durable finish. This lock is also versatile and can fit doors from 1-3/8 in. to 2 in. T. It is UL listed for 3 hour doors.
