No, I do not recommend this product.
The tables were well packaged in heavy cardboard boxes. All of the component parts were well protected with either styrofoam inserts or thin foam sheeting. No shipping damage occurred.
The tables were easy to assemble, requiring only a screwdriver, using the well illustrated instructions. Tip: a couple of bar clamps were a big help holding the loose parts for assembly.
The parts fit together extremely well and produced a fairly sturdy cabinet when assembled.
The finish is good for the most part, although a couple of spots were rough and lighter colored on the frames.

MAJOR DEFICIENCY: The photos are very deceiving -- there is no way these shelves would support the weight of books as shown, without significant sagging! The upper and lower shelves are very thin (4mm = 0.157") and neither is supported across the front or back. The lower shelf is only supported on the sides. The upper shelf is supported by four small plastic supports, one at each corner. I rectified this shortcoming by attaching a 1/2" plywood panel to the bottom of each shelf, to provide sufficient stiffness. Unless you plan to reinforce the shelves, or store only light weight items like TV remotes, etc., I would recommend against purchasing this product. Except for the grossly underdesigned shelves, this product is a good value. Read Less

Remember when power tools were actually powerful? WEN's 12 in. Variable Speed Drill Press is a powerhouse for your shop. This bench-top, cast iron drill press has the power to drill through metal, wood and other materials. Max drill capacity is 5/8 in. and 1 in. thick cast iron. The variable speed feature allows you to target in the exact speed (infinitely from 580-3200 RPM) that works for your project. While you are working you simply move a lever and adjust the speed as needed without touching any pulleys or belts. A digital readout powered by LED lights displays the running speed. Rigid frame cast iron construction ensures accurate holes and prevents wobbling and walking during operation. Our powerful induction motor features ball bearings for an extended life and smooth and balanced performance even at high speeds. The 5/8 in. chuck with MT2 spindle taper gives you versatility with a variety of bits and features on-board chuck key storage, so you never have to hunt around for it. Worktable bevels 45 degree left and right for those tricky operations for the perfect right angles. Base has predrilled holes for mounting onto a bench or work stand. Slotted table allows for mounting clamps and vises for effective mounting. The X-pattern laser locks-on to your drill points saving on guesswork and sparing expensive materials. Remember when you could drill with laser precision? Remember WEN.

          Answer:
Yes, there are ball bearings at the upper and lower ends of the quill shaft and also on both ends of the Reeves drive shaft.

          Answer:
No, a Phillips screwdriver is all that is required, but a couple of bar clamps are a big help to hole the loose parts together for assembly.

          Answer:
Sorry, but I don't understand your question. ".....on its top..."?? Top of what? The top of the adjustable drill press table? The top of the cabinet the drill press is mounted on?
